LoL! I still don't know what the "S" stands for. But it will add confusion. They should've named it 3G C or something else... :-P!

Me three...It really doesn't have anything the 3G didn't have, except the camera and "bigger" flash drive. I really think there's no big need to upgrade. Besides, all of the features they added are software-based and are easily accessible with the 3.0 firmware.

That's interesting news...I guess I retract what I said about "all" the improvements. Anyway, I'm stuck with a 2 month-old 2 year contract and I don't intend to put a $30.00 data plan on my account for an iPhone only...

The S stands for speed. The new iPhone 3G S is twice as fast as the previous model.

The "S" stands for something synonymous with crap.

its not twice as fast, as loading web pages in half the time.
its not jsut a speed bump on the proccessor, its a different proccessor entirely.

S = "suckers who are helping fund the next generation if iPhone"
It's a good thing we have a lot of S's, so in about year we can have a better phone.
