iTunes now includes Starz content

iTunes now includes Starz content Starz has announced that a lot of their classic and new movie content is now available via iTunes, bringing films from Overture Films, Anchor Bay Films, Anchor Bay Entertainment, and Manga Entertainment to the popular downloading platform.

Among the content available today is Sunshine Cleaning, Head Case, Martin Lawrence Presents 1st Amendment Stand-up, and Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone, says the company.

Among films coming in the very near future are The Hills Have Eyes, Phantasm, The Haunted World of El Superbeasto; The Education of Charlie Banks, The Grand, Lower Learning, Sex and Death 101 and Surfer, Dude, Dead Space: Downfall, Hellboy: Blood and Iron, Hellboy: Sword of Storms, and Street Fighter II: The Animated Movie.

"We are very pleased to be expanding our offerings on iTunes to now include a wide array of current and library feature films from Overture Films, Anchor Bay Entertainment, and Manga Entertainment, in addition to the popular Manga Entertainment and Starz Originals TV content," added Marc DeBevoise, senior vice president, digital media, business development and strategy for Starz Media and lead executive for Starz Digital Media.

Noted Starz Media vice president, digital media and business development Mara Winokur continued: "Expanding the reach of these films with iTunes purchase and rental options is a win for consumers and offers up a strong new business opportunity for these properties. The availability on iTunes brings a whole new level of customer satisfaction for fans of these movies."
