iPhone is the most popular phone in America According to recent Nielsen figures reported by MobileCrunch, the Apple iPhone 3G is now the most popular phone in the United States, despite RIM having about double the market share.
The numbers shows the Apple iPhone 3G/3GS at 4 percent, with the Blackerry 8300 series in a close second at 3.7 percent.

Somewhat surprising is the high ranking of the RAZR (the full line) in third at 2.3 percent.

The RAZR came in third? Surprise, surprise! Mine was a POS ever since I got it. My dad only got it cause it was free w/contract, and it was sub-par with the features it had on it. - BLUEBOY

In my opinion, the results are biased, Apple only has 1 phone, while you can see that most of the phones on the list are from LG and Blackberry... I think the results are unfair.

Agree. I really doubt that 4% of mobile phones in the US are iPhones...I think they should publish their source numbers to back up a claim like that...

I don't think that it would be a good idea since it will prove that by far more than 4% of americans own an Iphone.

How can u compare the one phone against all the models of one particular manufacturer?
