Toshiba to begin bundling Vongo with their laptops The large computer manufacturer Toshiba announced today that it would begin bundling a free 30-day trial of the Starz Vongo movie download service with its Satellite and Qosmio laptops starting in July.
Thanks to their agreement with Vongo, the company will place a Vongo icon on each desktop to facilitate registration of the service. The service is usually $9.99 USD per month, said Starz.

Vongo is host to over 2500 videos and provides access to a live stream of one of the Starz movie channels. Vongo also offers several pay-per-view selections.

As of now however, the content is only available and viewable to those with Windows-based PCs.

Oh boy! Buy a laptop, get adware!

Okay, I know, Vongo on a laptop isn't *technically* adware, but Jesus f'in Christ, including it with a purchase is the next best thing. I'd rather get $10 knocked off the price of my laptop than a Vongo icon I'm just going to delete--not that I'd ever buy a Toshiba in the first place.
