The federal government has officially banned truckers and bus drivers from texting while on the road, a rule that had been implemented by many of the trucking companies already.

it's $2750.00. That's how much the fine will be.

So, driving a regular sized car, you can text and endanger all the lives you want?
Funny, texting while driving will get you a fine, but things like putting on makeup, combing your hair, eating, reaching in the back seat, etc are not.

Im a trucker.. They need to focus on people in four wheel vehicles, such as teens. Driving all over the country I have seen hundreds of teenage girls texting and driving. I seen a guy on a motorcycle driving thru LA steering with one hand and texting with the other. People texting while holding the phone down in by the center console as if no one can see them text.. WTH.. Most trucking accidents are started from fourwheelers acting as if we are invisible to the road. Amazing how truckers are picked on sooo much and without them ALL commerce and business would stop
