Windows Phone 7 devices coming in September

Windows Phone 7 devices coming in September If a leaked AT&T retail memo sheet is accurate, then a couple of smartphones with Windows Phone 7 should be hitting the carrier by the end of the summer.
A store signage overhaul usually means it is two months before an actual device launch, so early September is the likely release date.

On the other end of the world, Australian carrier Telstra is expected to launch the devices in October.

The two phones on AT&T are expected to be from LG and Samsung.

Microsoft has a lot riding on the phones, especially after the recent failure of the Kin devices.

Aiming to differentiate itself from the iPhone and Android phones, which use home screens of widgets and icons, Microsoft says it has tried to blend applications together for a more "integrated experience," allowing the OS and applications to "share information with the user in a natural and seamless fashion."

Yes, that was the problem with Kin; the reason that it was an even bigger failure than Microsoft Bob; now what are you going to do to make Windows 7 Mobile successful? Oh, you were talking about windows 7 mobile, and you intend to make it like Kin, but more restrictive?

I guess there is some good news here; people seem to be smart enough to avoid microsoft's terrible mobile products...they are not smart enough to avoid Apple products, but at least they are not 100% braindead; only about 99.995%.

you gave them too much credit from that percentage

LOL, time will tell; Iphone surprised most people, *not that it says much there*, maybe MS will do the same.

I was following the Win Phone 7 stuff for a while before I got my Evo. That Winphone7 is going to suck worse than the Iphone and will crash and burn on launch.
They have sold out their core business users for what??? Xbox integration??? are you serious?
There's a handful of people trying to straighten their crap out but they aren't listening...
It'll crash on launch

What they should have said...
"Aiming to differentiate itself from the iPhone and Android phones; both of which are extremely successful;, we have decided to make our phone a huge failure."
