More details on Nexus Two surface More new details have surfaced on the rumored Samsung Nexus Two, which AndroidandMe has compiled.
Samsung has sent out invitations for a major event on November 8th, when they are expected to unveil the device.

The device will be the first to run Android 2.3 Gingerbread, and it may be the first to have native video chat available through an updated Google Talk app.

Furthermore, the phone will run on a 1.2GHz processor, feature a 4-inch AMOLED (or Super-AMOLED) display, a 5MP camera with autofocus and HD video recording, a 1.3MP front-side camera, 512MB RAM, 16GB internal memory and support for multiple carriers, likely AT&T and T-Mobile.

With those specifications, the Nexus Two will likely became the top Android phone in the market, and a worthy successor to the powerful, but failed Nexus One.

They should just ramp it up to 2GHz, wonder what the resolution will be.

Nexus one is the disruptive mobile platform ever. Open your eyes and see what the share of android based devices is today after the introduction of the Nexus one. I own one and can tell you that there is still no device yet that tops it.

People like you who call the nexus one failed are not in touch with technology and lose all credability. The Nexuss one did not fail, its even being sold still on the developers site. The Nexus is still the best android phone and gets software updates long before any other phone.

Can't wait to get a look at this new phone. Have a droid now, which is fine, but lacks the style of the Nexus. We shall see.

Never mind top Android phone, it will be the BEST smartphone out of every smartphone on the market. Even the old Nexus One is still better then the new iPhone 4. You don't need a cover or watch where you put your fingers so you don't lose a signal. You can change the battery, expand memory with microSD slot. Can watch flash videos, and play a lot more media formats.

Google didn't fail with the Nexus One. They just didn't sell so well with the exclusive online store because people wanted to get their hands on one before buying. If they brought it to more carriers and store, guarantee it will still be selling well, it was Google's decision to kill it. Even then you can still buy the HTC Desire, which is practically the exact same phone.

Thank you for correcting him, I'm tired of people and some articles having the wrong firmware name.

2.3 = Gingerbread
3.0 = Honeycomb
