The Big Picture v1.0

The Big Picture is an easy to use poster printing software that allows you to divide any picture into several A4 pages for printing large posters. It is great for making your walls look cool or for making conference posters with no special hardware.

Not only does it divide the picture into suitable pages but it also interpolates each page for smooth printing. You can also reduce the interpolation resolution, for instance, if you want to make a pixelized image instead of a smooth one.

The Big Picture is easy to use. Just load a picture and input the print size in A4 pages. The program shows how the picture will be divided into individual pages and counts the physical size of the final poster. You can also preview the individual pages.

Then just print the pages and glue them together to form a poster. The Big Picture prints an informal marginal to each printed page to ease the gluing of the pages. Each page tells what page it is and which pages come next to it and under it in the final poster. You can also set how much the consecutive image pages overlap to ease laying the pages together.
