AVIcodec v1.2 Build 113 Beta

This is the latest beta version of this software. The latest stable version is v1.2 Build 110. Download the latest stable version.

AVIcodec is a nice little tool for identifying what codecs you need in order to play your multimedia files. Program supports MPEG-1/MPEG-2, AVI, Ogg, ASF, WMV, etc formats.

Tool is a direct competitor to GSpot, but has better support for non-AVI formats, such as VCD, SVCD, DVD, etc. AVIcodec can also produce a simple list of all codecs installed on your computer, whether they are actual video or audio codecs, or just Windows' DirectShow filters.

Very Great App Used it for awhile now and always keep it on my 8gig jump drive for use on friends comps.

I like more than GSpot, but I would like to see more support for the MKV wrapped files, and have the context menu shortcut open more formats. I have to manually add them in regedit so it opens up WMV, MKV and MOV files.
