Avi2DVD is a GUI in order to convert with just few clicks an AVI/OGM/MKV/DVD to DVD/SVCD/VCD. Avi2dvd uses only freeware tools and can handle varius freeware enconders (QuEnc/FreeEnc/NuEnc) or CCE. Software supports 1 videostream, 1 audiostream and 3 subtitle streams (in a dvd mode).

Great app although it takes awhile to figure out it's quirks. HCenc encoder, though slow provides excellant results, superior to ConvertX, winAVi et al, especially at lower bitrates for longer movies.

I wanted to burn a DivX video that is 3:38 long, and it worked fine except that the DVD I got only has about the first half of the movie on it. The rest of the video is just not there! I would like to know why it is truncating the video. Is it too long? Maybe someone else will have better results.
