this is a excellent phone hands down!.. the features that you get for the price you pay is reasonable nothing over priced with this product. first i would like to start with the design and look of this phone. the phone has a glossy and shiny theme although this phone is unfortunately a smudge magnet.its pretty black essence mixed with the slide design gives this phone a smooth easy going look and the shape and size of the phone gives it some heft to it so it doesn't feel cheap and light.

The OS on this phone is simply amazing. i love the fact that i am able to multitask and pause a youtube video open another application and return back to another app picking up exactly where i paused it without no buffering or horrific frame rates everything runs smoothly and effectively.also this phone is able to multitask up to 8 different applications flawlessly before requiring you to close one to open another. The option to download content also makes this product more flexible. you can download criteria that fits you such as internet radio, games, education, lifestyle, entertainment and utilities which are products which i found very useful. (almost like the appstore found in crapple products) The touch screen is easy you can touch what you want, where you want up to par with the iphone. the quality of the picture is amazing at 3.5MP the pictures taken on this phone are like no other phone out there the images seem so real its almost as you are there looking with your naked eye. The favorite aspect of this phone i found really spectacular was the qwerty keyboard. the qwerty board was responsive and didn't have a plastic feel to it as the previous palm phones the buttons are spaced evenly and are not too close nor not too far. i found that the buttons to be responsive and made texting more fun and easier.

the battery life seems to be on the downside also depending on application use of bluetooth and wi-fi. another downfall of this phone was the user interface. when i first picked up this phone i found that some of the applications were hidden and that i had to really learn how to use this phone so that i could use this phone to its full functionality. this isn't a pick up and go phone you must spend your time with it to get familiar with its applications and the phones user interface.

Overall this is a great phone!! i would recommend this phone to anyone for business purposes or for anyone who is looking for a phone that is not going to be disappointing and that will fulfill your needs on your day to day basis. despite of the phones smudge magnet extraction, battery life and user interface i find nothing...absolutely nothing wrong with this phone. its responsive, reliable, and once its understood its makes life with your phone easier. it has the ability to multitask up to 8 applications flawlessly and the OS system for it couldn't be any better. great product and with updates and software patches this is definitely the iphone killer

When i first read about this phone sometime ago i was intrigued right away i have always been fond of palm's phones and was excited to see they where going to release something to rival the iphone which i was using before switch over to this.....

WHAT I LIKE ABOUT THE PRE:
1.Great Design it fits in your hand almost perfect not to big not to small. And the slide action is flawless.
2.The New WebOs that palm designed for this phone is refreshing having used other phones like the instinct and the touch pro..i find the touch screen with this phone to be on par with the iphone.
3.the picture Quality is stunning as well as the 3.5MP camera.
4.The Browser is perfect it supports flash and works flawlessly i have yet to have a problem with it.

WHAT I DONT LIKE:
1.Battery life seems to be on the downside if u have wifi and bluetooth on you will not get a full days use from your phone.
2.at the moment you cant set ringtones for text messages all you get is the default beep noise, but im sure there will be a software fix for this.
3.the qwerty keyboard was one of the main things i wanted this phone for because i hate typing on touch screen but the keys on here are a tad bit small..even for my hands with are tiny.

other than that palm has really made a point through this phone and it being the first gen. from them we can only expect better things, if they can get more apps and games then it will really compete in the iphones league.
