Windows Password Kracker is a freeware security tool that helps recover lost or forgotten Windows passwords. The tool is available for free from SecurityXploded.com.
It can recover the original windows password from either LM (LAN Manager) or NTLM (NT LAN Manager) Hash, using a dictionary crack method. It cannot decrypt the hash to get back the original password.
It supports versions of Windows from XP up to Windows 8. More info here.
