Sony PlayStation PortableRating: 5

(Handheld game consoles)

280 g

"The PSP is my second favorite console and my favorite portable one. It has a really nice list of games and a fantastic list of multimedia/internet uses. But when you start using home-brew that’s when it starts getting serious. It has a huge library of home-brew games and apps that enhance your experience even more. Not just that you can play back up games (Off Coarse they’ve been backed up #wink#wink#). Also you can make it even better with some home-brew items like games, pops loader (PSX), themes, emulators, irshell or even run windows! The possibilities are endless and with such a stylish console it’s that much better. Overall it’s a fantastic console with lots to offer! Very Pleased."

Nintendo WiiRating: 4

(Game consoles)

88MB - No HD media drive - No HDMI output

"I've had a wii since the day it came out and I am one very happy gamer. I've owned an Xbox 360 and compare it to the wii it's a heap more enjoyable. Sure you get the good graphics and HDMI output. But when it comes down to it, it's all about the fun and that's what wii delvers. With fantastic games the whole family can enjoy. Apparently Xbox has some of the best games well not for a younger audience. Gears of War, Halo, COD4 and other war based games are fine to play on your own but if I were to invite guests around I sure wouldn’t play it with them. I would highly disagree with ville30’s point “Poor games, poor graphics. Too kiddie centred, lousy motion controls that seem to be forced on every game. Ridiculous friend code multiplayer system. No DVD support. WORST CONSOLE EVAR! Get an Xbox 360 NOW!” For one no DVD support, are you kidding what about DVDX, geexbox and mplayer (read the forums). The multiplayer system is pretty easy and at least you don’t get banned for just about everything. Also the wii games are meant to be family orientated and not about shooting peoples guts out. As well as that when you get the wii you get everything you need included unlike the 360 where you need headsets, HDD, wireless ect. When you start getting homebrew on this console that’s when it shows its true spirit. It has a huge library of homebrew apps which you could use for emulating older consoles, for enjoying your media library or just playing good old home- brew games. All up wii is a fantastic console with great features and fun games. Sure it has it floors but it’s fun, fast and very interactive which I always look forward to playing!"

Microsoft Xbox 360 HDMIRating: 4

(Game consoles)

512MB - No HD media drive - 1 x HDMI

"Since I've got the xbox 360 I've been pretty happy with it. I haven't had any hardware problems or for that matter no problems at all. The only thing I find is that I don't play any of the shooting games like Halo 3, Gears of War 2 etc. Because I don't like those kind of games. But a part from that I think it's a fantastic console with lots to offer."
