So many people were checking vcdq.com today for info on Simpsons releases that it was crashing the site, I never saw that before. The internet is going ape shit for this release. Good thing too, FOX doesn’t deserve any money.

I don't understand...this movie is highly pirated yet it was the #1 movie in America with something near $71 million in box office revenue. I was told that companies couldn't make huge profits if their stuff is pirated. I feel so lied to.

Pirating has shown to be the best marketing tool available honestly, if people dont like the movie for free, who in their right mind will pay for it?

I totally agree! I wonder why the big media fat-cats can't see this fact. It is in their industry's favor for people to like to watch movies. What if all of us movie watchers suddenly decided we would rather read books? The whole movie industry would be history. It seems their view is very narrow.

Smart people/companies understand this...the other ones will continue to insult our intelligence.

I don't like to have my intelligence insulted. None of us do. That may be the biggest threat to the media industry.

I love how TPB changes their logo almost as often as Google to reflect the current state of interest.
