I am a old FPS fan, I dislike short shigted gun and gun FPSs(D3 and Q4 the worst yet of the AAA tittles,Jericho the worst yet....ever .....even daikatana was more fun) bioshock while not a complete waste was minimized due to mainstreamizsation and being rushed, Halo 3 has the shortest SP side of the lot and gameplay thats only alil more polished than H2 making it a 60$ MP game.
Perhaps you don't care they are getting lazy on gameplay and amount of content some people do and are not amused when graphics eat away at a game. |

Better than the disc eating easy break oven with half baked games stolen from PC development for quick cash. *rolls eyes*
If the PS3 didn't outsell the the 360 in europe by now I would still be writing it off but hell in 2 years it will crush the 360 as the main console devs look to to push software on, this is mainly due tot he 360s antquited design.
Also the PS3 is finally getting a huge BWC update all 40GB units up to 90%+ backwards compabile still a "rumor" but so was half of the 360s console "updates".
The PS3 is shaping up and the 360 can not keep up, altho I'll say this if MS puts in a BR drive(withthe intent to let devs make BR games in time) and unlocks the HDD on th 360 I'll be happy to plug 500$ into a new console, already wasted 250$ on a 360 and all it did was break down between shipping cost (would not pay for shipping twice) and lost money on resale, nothing but a waste of money,all the good games are multi console or on the PC and no halo ep 3 is not a good game.
there is only 1 game that makes me want a 360 and thats lost oddessy and even still its not wroth putting up with the craptacauler line up of uderdeved "pretty" games and bad hardware.
Frankly the PS3 currently is not much better bad coding costly games that are barely worth half retail price, hell even the WII is over priced and in a rut of party games.
Uhg the 7th generation news and brand movements are more interesting than the products being sold... mass market gameing blows.

Sorry buddy to dissapoint you, I am NOT a fan-boy of any console and very least of the Xbox 360, so don't compare because I do not have any intention to purchase one, but yet I do own two(2) PlayStation 3, One(1) PSP, Sony Ericsson's Multimedia Cell Phone, Sony "60 HDTV, Sony Entertainment Home Theater, Sony LocationFree... well I want the best, I think I bought the best and I have the right to demand the best.
And, for the titles mention above the only one worth to purchase is "Resistance: Fall of Man", yet it did not reach to be a "hit", much better game is "Call Of Duty 4", and also did not reach the market value to level or surpass "Halo" series. |

but there again you are picking on a naming shceme to designate discounted new titles, it dose not have to be a hit to have a GH label..
I still can't see why Halo 3 sold so well tis the worst of the lot and at 60$ for Halo ep 3 it just shows how well mass marketing and name branding works, Bioshock is another highly over rated title, sadly MP3 on the WII is not much better, I hate it whe they water down and "redirect" qauilty for the masses....

Firstly, watch who you are speaking to in that manner. You have already been warned for your inappropriate comments that clearly violate forum rules by their nature. But back on topic, just because you think certain titles weren't hits does not make it so *. This is not a comparative sales "race" of games over multiple consoles, Sony has a guideline for what becomes a GH/PH and those titles have met that requirement * (as quite a few other have too & hopefully more will be available)....why do I always have to repeat myself? I guess society's reading comprehension has dropped dramatically over the years.
