You know what would also be cool on some of these games is to some how set it up so that people could try them for say 10 min play time to see if they are worth buying.
Cause if what SProdigy says is true I would have rathered spent money on some of these new games rather than the old ones.
Some of the newer ones are really cool, but too bad EGM only highlighted Final Fantasy in their mag, which they did give a high rating, but I haven't tried it yet.
Defend Your Castle is pretty much crap. The appeal wears off quickly.
Lost Wind utilizes the Wiimote to blow a wind gust on the screen, which moves your character, and manipulates how you play. It's very cool, kind of "Zelda-esqe" but REALLY short. I beat it in 3 hours and some report 2 or less.
Pop is like popping bubbles and is fun if you have someone else to play head-to-head.
TV Show King is like a cross between Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune (with Mario Party type booby prizes on the wheel.) Once again, more fun with friends because the AI cheats 50% of the time. (This also integrates your Mii characters into the game which is very cool.)
Dr. Mario RX Online is a gem. If you liked the original, or if you are into games like Tetris, you MUST give this a serious look. The gameplay is the same as it was before, so it's not a new game by any means, but the inclusion of online play and the updated touches on the graphics and sound are very cool. There's also a 4-player mode (not online) where everyone plays all at once, which is crazy.
I haven't tried NES games on the
Wii, because I can just play them using emulators on my
Xbox 1 or PC, so the money would be wasted. I do, however, have a few N64 games, and I have yet to notice any glitchy controls.
