Great more advertising and marketing, if dynamic in game adds wasn't enough already.
The RIAA - BPI - IFPI - CRIA - Ect - Ect Are: SONY, UNIVERSAL, WARNER GROUP, EMI.
The MPAA Are: SONY, UNIVERSAL, WARNER GROUP, DISNEY, PARAMOUNT, FOX.
Dont allow them to hide behind the trade body names, name and shame em.

nope it just brainwashes our kids with adverts from McDonalds, Burger King, Pepsi, ect, so they can get fat and stupid and be good little consumers.
as an adult it's easy to dismiss the garbage that is thrust upon us but a younger mind is easy to manipulate and the advertisers know this and this is why the have chooses to pour billions of advertising revenue into in game adds.
in the UK certain adds are not allowed to be shown before 9pm or in a programme that the younger population would watch, the ps3/360/pc dynamic game advertising is a way to get around this, without the children's parents even knowing.

Wow 13, thanks so much for the information. I would have thought that Sony would have put a link on the PS3 to allow me to go to or not go to the YouTube link. But obviously I don't have a choice. And when Sony says that they will show off video content ranging from trailers to game footage and director's commentary; Sony really means that they are going to brainwashes our kids with adverts from McDonalds, Burger King, Pepsi, ect, so they can get fat and stupid and be good little consumers. You left out the part about the sky falling.

right, and game trailers = fat kids due to KFC?
you really think most kids will use a games console for anythign but playing games?
my brother is still 12, he only uses the consoles to either watch movies OR play games, the net he goes on is at home.
also you really think these kids will be noticing the adds in their disney games, or harrypotter? im pretty sure these kids know what mcdonalds is, with or without ads and that the parents fault. id know, i dont go to these junk places, nor do i let my brother, yet my little cousin whos 4 has grown up on them. ask him who the prime mister is, he'll go huh?, ask him who the clowin in mcdonalds is and he'll go rowland..... and its due to his parents, who are too lazy to cook at home. not due to gaming adverts, or even TV adverts.

13th, I'm afraid I can't follow you there. Where in-game advertising is concerned, I can still see how some people have a problem with it (although it's no different than billboards in streets or advertising on commercial TV stations).
But this? We're not even forced to watch it. If you don't want to be 'brainwashed', just don't go to the channel. It's a simple as that.

gladly, how does it feel though, to be scrutinised every article, sound like someone we would all feel better on aD without?
as much as you will argue again, i will argue for sony, i cant stand them either, bar the PS1 and PS2 never had a sony product, but your constant bitching about sony has become enough, so i will be your opposite.

An Internet troll, or simply troll in Internet slang, is someone who posts controversial and irrelevant or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum or chat room, with the intention of provoking other users into an emotional response[1] or to generally disrupt normal on-topic discussion.[2]
Everyone gets one vote as to who they think is a troll.
nobrainer. wasnt smart enough the first time to listen to the mods about trolling and got the hammer. At it wide open again.

Well, You guys that aren't from the great USA, perhaps do not understand or not know that the working parents ( and not 'the' so working ones) are very much busier on doing something else than paying attention 24/7 to what kind of games are gaming on PS3, Xbox 360 or watching on TV... (from where, and from whom the 10yrs old kids are getting 'Grand Theft Auto San Andreas' whereas this game is practically teaching your child how to be and wanna be a 'bad a$$ gangster, been a pimp, beat up police, burn and destroy everything..!!!
Not only the children are falling for these kind of ADs strategies, the bottom line is DEMAND, if were not demands for sure there's no consumism therefore would have no need for this (24/7) - (365) days Advertisements.
The North American children are simply spoiled rotten brat, it won't matter from where the parents background Nationality is; I know a lot of people that they come from the most poor countries of the world, and as soon as they settle a bit well, the kids only demand from their parents the most expensive 'things', anything they see on TV so they want to have.
Who are you going to blame?, Parenthood for been weak or Society for been parasite?

well im from the UK, and yes i do blame the parents, as one works, but one stays home with the kids, and she doesnt bother to cook, instead takes them to mcdonalds.
parents need to be stricter with their kids, and should resort to slapping them aswel when needed. none of this PC BS IMO.

Your point of view of the lazy mother you're talking about is the finish result product of the parasite society that we live in.

I personally don't hate capitalism, as long as it's not unfettered. We wouldn't be suffering thru the recession we have right now for instance. It should be regulated, do you want to see children down the mines etc. again in your own country?
I do dislike seeing ads in stuff I pay for. Forced advertising on public owned SBS in my country hasn't improved it's service. It's rude to see ads just everywhere you look. AdBlock and FlashBlock have made browsing a joy again- and faster.

By the way, I'm always a bit disturbed when I see a member like 13thHouR gassed- who's posts have never seemed particularly any more offensive than anyone else's at times.
I suppose I missed whatever his/her transgression was. I'd sure like to know what line such a consistent contributor has crossed.

It's none of your concern. That is for admins, staff & moderators to discuss and handle.
