If you want to talk "hype" Apple has got bucket loads of it plus the honest truth is that iPhone doesn't sell that well, especially when compared to Blackberry phones...also the iPhone is not "the be all end all" mobile device to MILLIONS of people.

Now that is not to say the iPhone sucks (if you gave me one I would definitely use it) but I'd rather have a G1 or a Blackberry Bold over an iPhone any day.

I just hope the phones work mainly because alot of these new phones do everything great but not when u need to use the phone to call someone. You can search the web and do this and that but when tryin to make a call or talk to some of these numerous phones they just dont work well and thats the main part of a phone is to be able to talk to someone.

guess what? the "home" button is a track ball which you can use to navigate which is pretty convenient if you could get some time away from steve job's lap and try it out. Android is already imo better than the iphone os and since its run by google and open source, it also is basically the haven for dev applications. it might not sell as well as the iphone, but just wait and see apples market share shrink while android's grows.

android will kill the iphone in less than 5 years.

from what i heard the phone will have a 2.5mm headset jack and a 3.2 mp camera.

not the best features, but not a bad start, there will be over 10 android smart phones coming out by the end of the year, things will only get better.

Huh? My G1 works fine for calls, too bad this one gets rid of the keyboard, it's nice having both, plus it's open source !
    Can you say augmented reality?

Hahaha. It even says 3.2 on the camera even though it said 5 MP but there must be two models.

OK. It says T-mobile, but it doesnt say which T-Mobile. I was just reading another article on another site stating that it will launch on T-Mobile Europe and no word if it will arrive in the states. Can anyone clarify that for me. Im really waiting fot be able to get an Android phone soon because ive dropped my iphone so much my signal drops eraticaly and need to upgrade asap.
