Spotify headed to iPhone

27 July 2009 16:22 by Andre "DVDBack23" Yoskowitz | 4 comments

Spotify headed to iPhone Spotify, the music streaming service, has announced it will be bringing its first ever mobile app within the next month, to the Apple App Store.

The application is currently waiting approval from Apple to be placed in the store. If approved, iPhone and iPod Touch users will be able to download the app for free to their devices.

Spotify has been in the news of late after announcing they were expanding to the United States and that they were adding over 2 million new tracks to their extensive library.

The app will allow users to search for music and save playlists for later playback even if you do not have Internet.

The one catch with the free application is that users will need a premium subscription to be able to use it. The service costs £9.99 per month.
