Latest Dan Brown novel selling better on e-book

Latest Dan Brown novel selling better on e-book According to the Kindle Nation Daily blog, the Amazon Kindle edition of the new Dan Brown novel The Lost Symbol is outselling its hardcover counterpart, an interesting development.
It is important to note however that the hardcover has been on sale, via pre-order, for 150 days already and it would appear that most excited buyers put in there orders sometime during that period. The Kindle edition is also significantly cheaper.

The whole situation is interesting to note however, as the Kindle edition is outselling any book available at Amazon, whether in print or digital, a good sign for the device, which many have called overly expensive for its functionality.

I loved reading The Da Vinci Code, and Angels & Demons a few years ago. Forgot that this book was out, lost track. Might go to Chapters tonight and pick one up.

That assumes that they have a license to sell it at all...they had no license to sell 1984 or Animal Farm...but that didn't keep them from selling it anyway.

Still seems way too expensive for an ebook.

Guilty... bought one for my Kindle... $10 is a lot for an eBook, agree. If you look at it, it's like $7 dollar cheaper than the real book (hardcover too), which you can sell/lend/donate etc. So $10 is not really cheap. But this is Dan Brown, you got to read it on day one! Just kidding... Hot sellers like this are difficult to borrow from the library and i hate it when a lot of people read it already by the time it get to me (spoilers and more spoilers). I don't buy a lot of books, but i do buy them occasionally (like going out to see a movie). You got to treat yourself something nice once in a while right? And of course, i have to kept telling myself, i saved $7 and i didn't wait on any lines. Also, i can bookmark every lost symbols in the book, hahahaha...
