Just another bit of proof to show something sony will never learn:
Looks beat performance when your selling to the public!
I mean the nintendo ds lite was such a good product! And the sales were fueled by the amazing advertising this product has!
Bravo nintendo!

@lecsiy: I think the originality of Nintendo's current consoles (i.e. the DS and the Wii) also has something to do with it. With the touch (DS) and movement (Wii) inputs it opens up the consoles to a much wider audience, the consoles appeal to more people, because touching a screen and moving a controller are easier for "non-gamers" (people who wouldn't normally play games) to use then all the buttons on a "standard" controller.
Anyway, nice to see Nintendo continuing to do well. :)

Well that is nice. I still love my PS3 though. The Wii is probably good but I wouldn't buy one. I have a PSP so i wouldn't buy a DS either. I thinks Nintendo is doing good but I'll stick with Sony.

Anyone know if Nintendo hired an ex-Apple employee or something? Their product design has vastly changed with the Wii and DS Lite. Very elegant compared to pretty much all of their previous products.
I don't see a DS 2 for a loooonnggg time, to much potential left, which is what I like to see.

Maybe never. Originally posted by DarkJello: I don't see a DS 2 for a loooonnggg time, to much potential left, which is what I like to see.
Even if they do make a "DS 2", it will most likely be called something else. Maybe a quad screen player?
It all ends here.

I agree. They made their system all white and shiny and slick like apple stuff. Cause regular DS looks like 1988 product while DS lite looks pretty cool.

definitely! design can help a console too. I like the futuristic look nintendo has given to the DS Lite.
Thanks to DvDBack23 for my sig!

I love my daughters DS Lite. It's a fun system to play with if your bored and want to mess around. She's the bigest Nintendo fan of them all. I'm sure she would of had a N64 if she was into games when it was out. I bought her a N64 at Gamestop for $20 used I think, and she plays that thing alot more than her Cube.
Things have changed since she got the Wii. Not she's keeps bugging me wondering when a Pokemon game for Wii will be released!
Way to go Nintendo!!

I thought the Wii and Wii games were region free?

they aren't. its just like the ds. u need a japanese Wii to play a Japanese Wii

Isn't that putting a region on it...?

I would say that yes, that is a way of them region "coding" the Wii system. Shame though, my daughter would love to play the new Pokemon, even if it is all in Japanese.
