I am starting to wonder if it was BR troubles or removing the PS2 chip that caused the delay....

Indeed Zippy. Their PR always takes someone's words and turns them around. The only way they could blame themselves is if a controller explodes in someone's hands. Then again, they would just say "See, that's why we took the rumble feature out. Our OEM manufacturer XYZ Company made an error in designing this controller..." etc. etc. etc.

If you could pay attention you would find I hold Sony/MS/Nin feets to the fire,Sony has been erratic and sloppy in what it dose,and because of it their console that should be great is being hurt by their incompetents..please keep blindly believing in Sony they need all the sheeple they can get!

Dude I have a Wii. I will get a ps3 sometime in the future when there are more games.

After all that Sony still is the number one console seller of all time.Not bad for a company thats full of PR,erratic,sloppy,& incompetents.I really don't get where some people get there logic from on here they just throw the facts out the door & replace it with meaning less chatter.

And why is the reason for that lets see,the PSX had allot of exclusive games that carried over to the PS3,the PS2 was reasonable priced,the PS2 had a drying up and cart based ravials.

the PS3 however is badly priced,the online side lack polish,the games have pretty much left them and they tend to lie out of all sides of their mouth instead of the normal 1 side.

the fact you cant see the PS3 being in bad shape currently is a testament to your own blind fanboy lust,I'll admit I got the jaded codger glasses on but at least I don't pick favorites.

I was going to buy a PS3, but because of the silly mistakes that caused the delay, I won't be getting one til' around Christmas or so because I'm gonna get an IMac instead.

And, I don't mean to sound like a fanboy, but PS3 IS better then XBOX 360. You can't compare it to the WII, well, because it's on a WHOLE-NOTHA-LEVEL for that price, which is pretty cool. Like holy crap! It even has a weather station!

The XBOX was only $50.00 less when it came out(in my area). With the PS3(if it were to come out around the same time), for $50.00 more, you get Blue-Ray(which is an extra $120.00 for the HD-DVD player for XBOX), free online, 3x more memory, and soon to be basically a free SIMS game, Playstation Home. Another thing that I think is a little odd about the XBOX is that, within the extra year that they've been given, most of their major game titles are mainly Alien vs. Predator games. Now I'm not saying that they're all bad games, it's just after playing one after another, it gets a little boring.

Now that is just my opinion. For now, I'll just stick with my SMB :)

Not everybody can afford a PS3, period. It's like a nice car, many people can get it, but not everybody.............

the truth dose hurts

as much as the 360 is together with tape (hardware failures) and the WII's controls don't gloss over the 4 year old graphics.

On the positive side the 360 has the next gen line up the WII is cheap and fun and the PS3 will be the center of gaming in 2 years.
