Acer has unveiled the new Aspire AS8950G-9839, a powerful entertainment center laptop, at the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES).
Acer claims that the Aspire AS8950 Series delivers an unparalleled high-definition personal theater experience, and it has the specifications to back up such a claim. Powered by the Intel i7-2630QM processor with next generation ATI graphics, it also features a Blu-ray drive and new Dolby audio technology.

"The new 2nd generation Intel Core i7 processor delivers approximately a 20 percent overall performance gain, while its graphics subsystem delivers performance comparable to an entry level discrete graphics card.
