Site update - March 16th 2010

AfterDawn.com has been updated! In addition to renewing the layout of the site we have also speeded up things considerably. The new version has been tested on our Finnish site for several months, and during the testing we have managed to improve the new version even further.

You can now enjoy this new layout at English AfterDawn.com and English Discussion Forums as well! We have also introduced new sections to the site, and re-arranged things a bit.

MeGUI is a video conversion application, which was primarily designed to be a DVD ripper, but is capable of all transcoding. It is essentially a frontend for many free tools, but also includes a number of utilities to enhance the conversion process. It supports MPEG-4 ASP (XviD & libavcodec MPEG-4) using mencoder, MPEG-4 AVC (x264) using x264.exe or mencoder, (HE)AAC audio using BeSweet & Nero AAC encoder and MP4 muxing using mp4box.

Do you guys with the application error have .NET Framework 2.0 installed? That is required for this application to run.

Everything you need for advanced encoding, Xvid or h.264. Lot's of tools and automation implemented. You will seldom run another program along side it, as this has it all.

Because of a system error... The application gets the blame? <br/> <br/>Some people... <br/> <br/>MeGUI is an excellent piece of open source software. My thanks goes out to Kurtnoise & Sharktooth for taking this application to the next level. :-)
