AutoGK update v2.36 Beta

Beta update pack for AutoGK. Contains some updates compared to full stable version of AutoGK.

AutoGK (Auto Gordian Knot) is powerful and very easy to use tool for making DVD rips. It was designed for people who know very little about video conversion. It includes everything you need to rip DVD to DivX/Xvid in very easy-to-use interface.

You need to download AutoGK (stable version) before you can use this beta update pack.

GrayArea, yeah, AutoGK is usually just great. Only lately have I found it a little buggy, and only with one set of video source files. I've been backing up season one of Carnivale and 50% of the output files play in full 4:3 on my Philips 642 even though that's not the aspect ratio of the source file. The only way around it is to re-encode and manually choose a width which the Philips can handle without ballooning the video to 4:3. But other than that, it's great.

I get the impression that some "purist" GK users may turn their nose up at AutoGK. I have been using it to encode DivX files for my Philips DVP642 player with very good results. Easy DivX and XviD encoding for noobs and um... lazy people such as myself.
