According to multiple sources, Verizon is planning a new flagship Windows Phone device codenamed the "Laser."
The new Nokia Lumia phone will have specs similar to the recently launched Lumia 920.
Microsoft will allegedly back the device heavily, providing marketing support.
It will be considered a flagship for the carrier, meaning it will be given equal floorspace to its iOS and Android brethren.
Nokia and Verizon declined comment.
