StripPhoric is a useful tool that simply stripes all metadata information from files.
Currently, it supports image files (PNG and JPEG). Metadata can include timestamps of when the pictures were taken, or even GPS location information, which you might want to remove before putting a photograph online.
The tool just strips metadata info, it won't alter the image itself.
