IndexAuthor helps to make it less painful to create an index of a long document.

Depending on you needs you can use a Text Index, Files Index or Keyword Index. Text Index creates an Index from one single file, the File Index creates one from some files and the Keyword Index creates a Keyword List from one or more files.

You can also define a White List and a Black List. You can produce a HTML index or a simple plain text index, depending on your preferences. The Index Author is able to read page numbers from your text files automatically and can use them for your index.
