My Shell Folder lets you create your own shell folders (like My Documents etc.) on the Desktop, pointing at any directory.
All you need to do is enter a name for the folder, point it to a target folder on your computer, select an icon and then click Create.
That will produce a shell folder that cannot be easily deleted or renamed.
Press F5 (refresh) at the desktop or at "my computer" and you have your own custom shell folder.
