Simple Internet Meter is a nice bandwidth monitor that runs on Windows operating systems.
You can use it to monitor your bandwidth and network traffic, or to monitor a range of ports. It can keep logs of daily and hourly network usage. Reports can be saved to file automatically.
A system tray icon can also be animated to reflect network traffic.
NOTE: This version is free. A paid version offers more features such as bandwidth quotas, quota alerts, remotely viewing other computers etc.
