Avast Decryption Tool for CrySIS will decrypt files that were encrypted by the CrySiS (JohnyCryptor, Virus-Encode, or Aura) ransomware.

The ransomware has been in the wild since September 2015. It encrypts files and saves then with a .CrySIS or .xtbl extension. Decryption (ransom) instructions are then placed on the Desktop and will be displays to the users.

This tool walks you through the process of decrypting the files being held to ransom. It is provided for free courtesy of the good guys at Avast!
