Kill-Update will prevent Windows 10 from installing updates until you want it to.
Run it as administration (right-click and click Run as Administrator). It will then appear as an icon in the system tray at the bottom right corner of the screen. Right click it and you have the option to run it as startup.
Another option is "locked". When this is set, no updates will be installed.
