The question for me is not why the iPod caught fire, but what the heck he is doing with a first generation Nano? :P

Tens (or hundreds?) of millions iPods sold and one caught fire? Guess we shouldn't avoid Apple products because of this, even if somebody is accusing Apple because of this.

Well it was here in the U.S. so he could probably win the lawsuit that will inevitably happen. As for what some people are saying, this was just one incident out of how many that were sold? Sure the fact that it happened is cause for concern, but it was one isolated incident. The Xbox red ring of death was cause for concern. Now, because of the inevitable fanboy morons, I am not an Apple fan, and I'm not a Sony/Nintendo fanboy. I'm just looking at this in a more realistic sense. Something the fanboys should try doing sometime...

Well he must have had some hot hits on his ipod for him to catch on fire. I have to say i hope the package that apple sent out had a letter in it appoligising for the issue that arose.
