PS3 hits new milestone in Japan The PlayStation 3 has surpassed another milestone in Japan, passing the 2 million units sold mark after a strong sales week.
Sony's popular handheld, the PSP, had a very strong week as well in the territory and sold 121,000 units for the week ended April 6th. The Nintendo DS sold under half of the PSP, with 55,000 units for the week. The usually strong Wii sold a little less than usual at 44,600.

The PS3 sold 11,000 units as of April 6th to hit the 2 million sold milestone in Sony's home territory.

Finally PSP is getting his deserved place, BEST system ever made...
I never understood why it was selling less then DS or any other system... If you have a PSP you know what i'm talking about... Man what psp is capable of is so amazing (nothing like it, not even ipod touch) i know is too soon, but i can't even wait till they start planing making PSP2, two things that would blow my mind if cames with next time is: Second analog and buid in memory (flash or HDD). Congrats to Sony for making such a great... I don't even know what to call it... "DoItAll" would be kinda of appropriate.

Have to agree ... since im a psp owner. Twice as better as anything. For example, we have SKYPE!

I have the S&L and i agree with you.
Is a portable media center.
Only thing that i dont like is that you must have a Wireless router to go online.

Since when? most of the product i brought is from china lol.... American is too expensive. And i'm not sure if you referring to PS3, if so PS3 is Japanese too, the only console that is American is Xbox360

Sorry but i don't see how you would like to stay online on a handheld if not wireless... even regular system are using wireless now. Maybe you should invest $20 and get a router bro, its a well spend money

xbox American?.........no try Chinese same as ipod never heard of globalization

The PSP has gotten a huge lift from the release of Monster Hunter 2 in Japan. That game almost sold 900,000 copies in its first week and 600,000 its second week.
