Just downloaded the software. I was able to split a large MP3 file by using the "Set Begin" & "Set End" buttons within the "Edit" section of the program, located in the bottom left hand corner.

<br/>Previous work with VirtualDub editing, helped me jump on this way of wokring. You can always reset the beginning and end points...and simply export the selection as an MP3 with the "Save Selection" command within the "File" menu option.

<br/>A short-tip: once you've selected your selection points don't click on the wav format because it will reset them and mess up your hard work.
