CCleaner is a freeware system optimization and privacy tool. It removes unused files from your system, allowing Windows to run faster and freeing up valuable hard disk space. It also cleans traces of your online activities such as your Internet history.

Currently CCleaner can clean up atleast the following software: Internet Explorer, Firefox, Windows, Windows registry and a long list of 3rd party applications.

Great program but lacks in the registry Cleanup I recommend a second registry cleaner also it does not Compress files like the disc cleanup does. This is 1 of the 7 programs I run when cleaning PC'S.

Love this app. You can stop software from starting with your system and remove programs way faster and easier then the window's os built in method. Best of all this is free!

yes must say this great proggy does all what it says on the tin and much more used it since it first came out from day 1 ..just got to tick the right boxes for you start. so you dont delete what you dont want to ..i also used the tools starup to do some tweaking.

Deletes temporary files way better than windows disc cleanup. it will even overwrite the stuff it deletes so you can make it really secure. cleans the registry fast and allows you the option of backing the registry up before you change anything. you can customize what you want it to clean or don't want it to clean. all in all its a great program and, ITS FREE ALL IN ALL A GREAT PRODUCT, AND ITS FREE

One of the best freebies around. Set it clear your internet traces and your recycle bin at system startup and also the security level you require and you're done or run it at any time. Unlike other free file shredders this one also scrambles the file name. You can also clean your registry and other activity traces on your computer, unless you're advanced user be careful with some settings as you can potentially clean windows system files and render you system u.s. This has been the tool that I have been looking for!!!Works way better then Windows cleaner, and much faster too. I only downloaded the stable version, never have much luck with betas. I highly recommend this tool, I haven't experienced any crashes with computers nor conflicts with my Kaspersky anti-virus. It also uninstalled this one piece of software that has been bothersome for months!!!!

PC Maintenance with two clicks: 1. Clean temps, history, cookies, IE temps, etc.; 2. Clean Registry, with enough default options (be careful changing defaults!). Before CCC I used several other packages, such as: TuneUp, WinWasher, MS Disk Clean, etc. CCC does a better job alone, than all others combinmed! I hope that donations would help its wonderful creator polish, advance and improve this wonderful tool! Hats off, CCC!
