Vista Transformation Pack v6.0 (Proper)

This is an old version of this software. You can also download v8.0.1 (latest stable version).

Vista Transformation Pack is a layout and functionality hack for Windows XP that gives your XP a same look and feel you'd get using upcoming Windows Vista -- for free.

Pack includes several enhancements to XP's features and allows easy uninstallation in case you prefer to keep your old Windows XP look instead. Software does some changes to the Windows system files that are necessary to emulate Vista look and feel, but is completely safe and doesn't do anything nasty to the system. Great software to play with, while Microsoft keeps pushing the Vista release date even further in the future.

If you want xp too look like vista do not use this transformation pack on SP3 it will mess it up and does not fully install everything.

Although there is another program that is better then this that is vistamizer and it works way better.

I haven't installed it yet but I think it will bring the performance down on my computer.I got a 1.8Ghz Duo Core 2 with just 512MB.

good piece of software but when i installed it, but the performance of my pc just dropped like a bat out of hell

i have a basic
core 2 quad Q6600 @2.4Ghz
2 gig ram
512mb video

when it was installed it was running very slow i couldn't close anything i couldn't use the start menu, i couldn't even scroll down pages when i was on the net

this program to me looks good but performs very poor with the performance of my pc i give it a 2 out of 5

You have an Intel of course it will run slow. If you are running a quad core CPU on XP you are wasting two cores you need 2003 or Vista to handle 4 cores.

Uuhh-whats the point? Can somebody make a software to make vista look like windows 2000, or better yet my ipod?

You can make Vista look like 2K why you would do that is beyound me though.

Any of these transformations paks are a waste of time and will probably mess up your system using them. They are all resource hogs so you might as well buy Vista if you want Vista.
