Icon Cache Rebuilder can repair a broken or corrupt icon cache in Windows.
Run Icon Cache Rebuilder, click Rebuild, wait for Explorer to refresh itself and hit Restart to Restart your computer. Once your computer restarts it will build a new Icon Cache.
