This is an old version of this software. You can also download v2.27.959 (latest stable version) or v2.28 Beta (latest beta version).

BSplayer is a Windows player that plays back all kinds of media files ( avi / mpg / asf / wmv / wav / mp3...) and specialises in video and divx playback.

There is an alternative to this adware infested version. Link: <a rel="nofollow" href="http://filehippo.com/download_bsplayer/" target="_blank">http://filehippo.com/download_bsplayer/</a> . This was the last version that filehippo will carry because later versions included the scumware. Just my $.04

While BSPlayer was my media player of choice, the inclusion of adware in the most recent versions has put me off it. I switched to Media Player Classic and haven't looked back, as it has even more useful features, better AC3 support, plenty of nice filters and more control over how the video's rendered, and better post processing support, and is free and open source. All the keys are redefinable, so if you like BSPlayer's Winamp-style controls, you can easily replicate them.

Installs WhenU SaveNow Adware which is a well know threat to your computer. Use VLC, Media Player Classic with Real and Quicktime Alternative, or JetAudio. They are have better functions without the crapware!
