GSpot v2.60 Beta 2

This is an old version of this software. You can also download v2.70a (latest stable version) or v2.60 RC 1 (latest beta version).

GSpot is a nice little tool that allows you to see what audio and video codecs the video file uses in order to determine what you need to install on your system to watch it.

Program supports OGM, MPEG, RealMedia, Windows Media, Flash and AVI formats.

It's good, but I still prefer AVIcodec over this. Do you when they will support Matroska format files?

This thing is pretty good. I have been wondering for years if there's a simple tool to tell u why vids aren't playing codecwise. This does the job.

didnt like the gui didnt like at all the fact that the program after closing it never terminaties, but stays running in the background using 50% cpu and a lot of memory (just found out by starting task manager)
