Vivendi plans to launch

Vivendi announced plans to launch a new video service called that would allow users and indie film makers to share their movies in digital format much like unsigned artists do currently through Vivendi's service.
Vivendi said that the service is currently in beta testing phase and will launch officially within next few weeks. Users can stream certain amount of the indie clips for free, but for larger amount of streaming, they would have to pay a fee.

Service was inspired by the's success (and the domain name was originally registered by before Vivendi bought the company) and is also powered by the's technology that also powers the Pressplay subscription music service.
