ImTOO WMA MP3 Converter v2.1.79.0302
BEWARE – DO NOT BUY. I downloaded this “shareware” program to try it out. When I tried to convert a WMA, the program prompted me for a license key. There was no option to try it on a limited basis for free. I wrote to ImTOO customer support. They told me to click on the “Remind me later” button. I explained that there was no such button, and sent them a screen shot. Then they told me that I did not have the latest version, and gave me a link. I downloaded that version, and it turned out to be the exact same one I previously had. I decided to take the risk and buy the software license for $19.95. I tried to convert a single WMA file again, and this time an error message reported that ImTOO could not convert “protected” WMA files. (Isnt that the whole point – that WMAs are protected files which we want to covert to unprotected MP3s?) I wrote back to ImTOO and told them I had had enough and wanted a refund. They stalled and asked me to explain the issue, which I had already done. We went back and forth several times, but all they ever did was stall and obfuscate. BEWARE. DO NOT BUY THIS USELESS JUNK FROM THESE CROOKS. YOU WILL NEVER SEE YOUR $ AGAIN.
