MusePack is the highest quality lossy audio compression format currently available. It is partially based on MP2, but has been efficiently optimised for excellent quality and speed. MusePack was previously known as MPEGPlus or MP+.
With standard quality, MusePack gives you files around 150-180kbps and very good audio quality. Using the extreme quality setting you will get files around 200kbps and truly excellent sound.
MusePack is currently the preferred format for audiophiles and strongly recommended for everyone.
