UMPlayer - Universal Multimedia Player - does exactly what its name suggests, it aims to play everything. It is free and open source software. It will even play videos from YouTube or content from SHOUTCast streams.
The player comes with built-in codecs for video and audio content, and supports all the major multimedia container formats. This means you can play almost any file you want once you install the player on your PC.
Supported formats include.. AAC, AC3, ASF, AVI, DIVX, FLV, H.263, Matroska, MOV, MP3, MP4, MPEG, OGG, QT, RealMedia, VOB, Vorbis, WAV, WMA, WMV and XVID.
