Universal Media Server (64-bit) is a DLNA-complaint UPnP Media Server that is compatible with a pile of devices and systems.

The software was written based on the PS3 Media Server by shagrath. Written in Java, it supports all major operating systems including Windows, Linux and Mac OS X.

The program streams or transcodes many different media formats with little or no configuration, based on the requirements of the remote device.

Among supported devices are the PS3, Xbox 360, Boxee, Vizio Smart TVs, Samsung Smart TVs, Google Android hardware and so on.
