While you can load up YouTube (and other flash-based) videos on a Nintendo Wii or PlayStation 3 (PS3), the Xbox 360 console doesn't make it such an easy task. You can use NXE with Windows Media Center to load a browser program, but that has its own limitations and needs you to keep on your computer. If you simply have Windows XP or similar and would like to be able to watch YouTube videos (or Google Video, or several other sources), then you can without Windows Media Center.
There has also been a similar guide added for Nintendo Wii, and a simple look at an application to download content from YouTube without needing to rely on web services.
How to watch YouTube videos on Xbox 360
The guide uses TVersity to stream directly from any YouTube URL you provide. TVersity will download, prepare and stream the content for you, where it can be displayed full screen by the Xbox 360 console. Some limitations can't be avoided, TVersity transcodes on-the-fly so a relatively modern (in tech terms) computer helps, as well as a broadband connection to avoid problems downloading from YouTube. The guide will work for any other web video you can feed to TVersity as well.
How to watch YouTube and Internet Video on Wii (Fullscreen)
Nintendo Wii has it's own browser, so it can display YouTube itself. Where you can run into problems is when you try to play Full Screen. Using the TVersity server on your home network can get around this problem. Recent news suggests Nintendo is working to fix that issue, but this guide will also cover content from other sites and sources (MMSH streams etc.), so it's a good look over for Wii owner with a wireless network.
Save YouTube videos to HDD
Any past guides we had posted that extract content from YouTube have generally used web services for the task. At least one of them has stopped working correctly, so we decided to add this very quick and short guide on using software to achieve the task easily instead.

I like modding weapons more, FO3 kinda got boring after 30 hours.
Fallout 3 has stole my soul, for about 30 hours till the paint wore off.... even if its a action focused FPS RPG, at least its a FPS RPG not a under deved shooter like Bioshock!

PlayOn is pretty nice. Although I read on Afterdawn that MS is talking with Hulu and that might be coming pretty soon. I paid for PlayOn solely for Hulu so part of me feels like I just threw $30 in the trash can. But at least if MS gets on board, i'll finally be able to rewind, fast forward and resume, something PlayOn can't do with Hulu streams.
