SlySoft offers $10 discount to AfterDawn users

9 July 2005 3:44 by Petteri "dRD" Pyyny | 43 comments

SlySoft offers $10 discount to AfterDawn users SlySoft is offering a $10 discount to AfterDawn.com users on any purchase of a SlySoft software (AnyDVD, CloneDVD or CloneCD). The offer is valid for the next two weeks, and can be redeemed by entering the promotion code "afterdawn" when making the purchase through SlySoft's site. With DVD Decrypter's development having been discontinued, we think AnyDVD is one of the best alternatives.

To purchase either AnyDVD, CloneDVD or CloneCD, simply visit SlySoft's site at:

http://www.slysoft.com/

Enter the promotion code "afterdawn" on the Personal Information page at checkout to receive the $10 discount.

Update: If you've already purchased a SlySoft product, don't worry. SlySoft will give you the AfterDawn discount anyway! If you've made your purchase during the past 2 weeks (+1 week goodwill), just contact them via their contact form, quote your order ID and ask for the 10 USD AfterDawn.com rebate.

Update2: The offer has been extended to last until August 8th, 2005. That means you have more than two weeks left to purchase the software and get the discount!

is this 10 dollars off each product, or a once only offer ?

It is per order. You can buy the "3-products bundle" and get $10 discount of the already reduced bundle price as well. (approx. $22.66 per product)

I wish they took "Paypal" as a form payment? I have a credit which I was unable to get back on my credit card.

Can I install these programs on multiple computers in my home, or just one?

Also, can games be copied in usable form with Slysoft software?

Multiple, as long as they are all your computers and you don't use the programs simultaneously.

Instead of asking questions HERE, why not just visit the Slysoft Web Site and READ about the programs.

They all have FREE download trial periods. Just USE THEM FOR FREE [/bold/ and find out for yourself; or is that too easy?

People will still have questions. And I agree with mike, you should try it before you buy it. Although if you do buy it first you won't regret it.

I HAVE tried the trial software and no one seems to be taking my questions legitimately. If I buy the download, is it possible for me to use it on more than one of my computers, or will I have to choose only one computer or purchase separate key codes for each computer? Also, can you do games with this software?? Sorry, I'm f@#king poor and I have to weigh these factors when I'm considering a purchase. Would somebody please give me an honest answer?

AnyDVD looks like a prominent cracking program and the price sure is looking sweet as well. However, I guess I'll wait until DVD Decrypter and DVD43 no longer can handle any of the new encryptions or which it gives me enough headached, then I'm more likely to purchase it, but as of now.... nah, I'll pass.

Hmm, I made quite a few copies of PS2 DVDs and Game CDs with CloneCD...???
The problem with the question was, it was unclear which of the 3 products were meant. The $10 discount is for three different products.

Do you run AnyDVD with Clone CD or Clone CD by itself for games? Can you use the copies to play from or just as installs such as you might for Sims, etc.?

Does CloneDVD2 process ISO in the same manner as DVD Shrink in terms of editing movie features?

I have a trial version of CloneDVD2, and I have been trying to edit an ISO of Sopranos Season 5 by removing episodes, but the only option I have found so far is only to burn an ISO not to edit it.

CloneDVD2 cannot open ISOs directly, but you can mount the ISO in Virtual CloneDrive. CloneDVD works fine with it.

    @Beanie02...and who ever

the question about using on several computers............

when you buy the program/programs they will send you a activation
    type email and a key........................

what you need to do is COPY the email and the key to a floppy
disks and put it up should you lose your email...........

all you have to do is download the key and save it to whatever computer you need it on, the same key will work on all
computers you have or want to use it on..............

    good day...............
    be free..............

Hi everybody, I'm sure glad places like afterdawn are around so we can share info on techniques, products and DISCOUNTS.
Today is Dec 22 2005. I've read a lot (well, relatively for a Newbee) on this site, so I went ahead and bought AnyDVD and CloneDVD2 after googling "discount afterdawn CloneDVD2" and got this site. I bought the software through the afterdawn link and used the term 'afterdawn' in discount box after I clicked on the purchase box on Slysofts site, and lo and behold, they discounted it $10 to $49 instead of $59. Hope this helps other people who want to buy this software (which I, in my limited experience, think is GREAT)

This is the easyiest software to back up all the newly encripted movies...updates as soon as Sony or anyone else can make them, Slysoft decripts them...Thank you Slysoft for your work and understanding that all we want to do is make a copy of our original movies so we don't have to rebuy them in case of an accident with the originals. THANKS!!!!! Don J
