edited article to add the part about possible false alerts you will get from ImgBurn downloads from "anywhere". AfterDawn has NEVER packed a virus with a download and never will.

Another great update to a superb program.
Lightning UK keep up the good work.
(And thanks again for all your hard work
from dvd-d to the current software IMGBURN.)
As far as viruses everything was clean and fine,
(As is everything I have downloaded from A/d or filepedia.)

FYI
I ran across a version of Shrink that HAS been modded to Burn with ImgBurn rather than Decrypter. Unfortunately, I don't remember where that was posted for download. Perhaps a Search for Modded Shrink or similiar term will find it.
ImgBurn is Great!

Move the imgburn.exe file to the dvddecrypter file in program files, change the dvddecrypter.exe file to dvddecrypteractual.exe, change the imgburn.exe to dvddecrypter.exe, then dvddhrink will open imgburn instead of dvddecrypter and if you create new shortcuts everything will work as it did before

When The install wizard promps you to install in "program file/Imgburn" , Install it in "program file/DVDDecrypter" instead...This should give you the effect that you want... (To be on the safe side ,I uninstalled the older version of Imgburn before I got started) ;)

I didnt get any virus warnings, using AVG 7 fully updated so maybe its fixed.
On a side note:AnyDVD can interfere with ImgBurn's ability to verify accurately, please ensure it's disabled!
Should i really bother disabling it?

I will say this: This is one fine piece of work! I just had it build an ISO file that was nearly 50 GB and it took an unbelievable 45 minutes to write it. DAMN! This is something that should be bought, not given away! God, I love this proggy!

Kudos for updating an already excellent free program. There are not many pay for ones that do as great of a job and with such a simple and familiar interface.

It still makes me laugh that I was the one who introduced ImgBurn to AfterDawn when it was first released and I got accused of being a liar, thief, and a impersonator! Everyone thought I was trying to take credit for LUK's work.
Heck even the great "ScubaPete" or what ever his nic is, verbally assaulted and made false accusations.

here's a concept L.U.K just release DVD Decrypter without a ripper and update the burning engine and features, etc

If imgburn is installed properly, a popup will ask you whether you wish to disable the old decryptor burn process and replace it with imgburn burn process

If AnyDVD isn't disabled, you may get a bad verification notice. It may not be a bad burn. It only takes a second to disable it. Right click on the red fox in the system tray and click disable when you start ImgBurn. Do it again when completed. It becomes a habit soon.

I had no virus problem. Everything went very smothly. The program fixed some errors in my DVD which DVDShrink had never read before. Now DVDShrink and Nero are reading it. However, the DVD became unreadable by other applications, such as WinDVD and VOBBlanker. I tried it again with the same sucess. I would highly recommend to use VOBBlanker first and ImgBurn second.
Certainly, would be great if everything is fixed and works fine, what is not the case now.
