dvd:rip is a all-in-one opensource DVD ripping solution for Linux that supports subtitles; XviD, DivX, VCD and SVCD video formats and AC3, Ogg Vorbis and MP3 audio formats.

Tool allows easy cropping and resizing with preview windows and easy-to-use selections. Other features of the tool include chapter splitting, several different deinterlace filters and integrated bitrate calculator.
