The video stream is saved into AVI-format and the audio is saved to MP3-format. Currently H.263/FLV1 and VP6/FLV4 are supported. Inorder to view the saved AVI-files, you need to hae the right decoders installed. We recommend that you try the latest FFDSHOW, if you dont' already have the needed components installed.
Note!: FLV Extract needs .NET Framework v2.0 to be installed.

Incredibly precise, blazingly fast, doesn't decompress then re-compress again before producing the .avi, gives you the option for an additional separate mp3 file, and timecode file - essential for good editing. Unbelievably small footprint for such a powerhouse.
Program does exactly what it's supposed to (and more) without superfluous options. And... it's free.
